Our cemetery, established in 1882, and our mortuary, established in 1959, hold rich histories intertwined with the fabric of the community. In 1971, we acquired the magnificent Mausoleum, which has since become a cherished part of our property.

Within Mountain View Mausoleum lies the legacy of Cecil E. Bryan, a master of mausoleum design. Having worked alongside famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright, Bryan crafted over eighty mausoleums in his lifetime. However, he considered Mountain View Mausoleum his masterpiece. Today, it stands as a true hidden gem, with its 180-foot-long Great Gallery adorned with an awe-inspiring hand-painted vaulted ceiling by artist Martin Syvertsen. The mural, depicting the story of Christianity, took four years to complete and serves as the mausoleum's focal point.

The stained glass windows, created by Judson Studios, further enhance the mausoleum's beauty, while surfaces crafted from more than 64 varieties of Italian marble and intricate tile work add to its grandeur. This magnificent mausoleum, now part of Mountain View Cemetery, offers a historic resting place that is both a work of art and a symbol of reverence.
