The Archdiocese of Los Angeles provides eleven Catholic Cemeteries and six Catholic Mortuaries throughout Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara counties. These sacred spaces are dedicated to serving the faithful and are a vital ministry of the church. We invite you to join us for our Memorial Mass held on the second Tuesday of each month, where special intentions are offered for those recently served by our Catholic Cemeteries and Mortuaries.

Our Saint Thomas Aquinas Cemetery is currently undergoing restoration to better serve the Catholic community in the Ojai Valley. This restoration includes the creation of a new Columbarium dedicated to Saint Thomas Aquinas.

In order to maintain the beauty of our cemeteries, we have established a regular practice of removing flowers every Thursday. However, during holidays such as Easter, All Souls Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, we allow flowers to remain undisturbed. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we strive to preserve the dignity and peace of our cemetery grounds.

During the Day of the Dead celebrations, our Catholic cemeteries come alive with vibrant and joyous occasions to remember and honor our loved ones who have passed. Join us as we celebrate this important tradition in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

We also offer a Memorial Mass on the second Tuesday of each month, where you can remember and pray for those we have lost. Submit prayer requests on our website, and join us virtually from the San Fernando Mission Chapel in Mission Hills, California.

In observance of important holidays such as Presidents Day, Good Friday, and Memorial Day, our cemetery and mortuary offices may be closed but cemetery gates will remain open for visitation. For immediate funeral or burial arrangements, 24-hour phone assistance is available.
