Rose Hill Funeral Home proudly announces the commencement of our flag retirement program. Beginning on Saturday, May 27, 2023, just before Memorial Day, our local, family-owned funeral home will be collecting Retired United States Flags. This program is established in observance of Memorial Day, Flag Day, and as a mark of respect for our military service personnel and the U.S. Flag Code of etiquette.

For the entire year, Rocky Hill, as well as the surrounding communities, are invited to participate in this noble initiative. We graciously accept any and all flags that are old, worn, or tattered, ensuring that they will be retired in accordance with the U.S. Flag Code.

To contribute, simply drop off your flags at Rose Hill Funeral Home, located at 580 Elm St., Rocky Hill, CT 06057. There is a dedicated flag collection box where you can leave your flag. Alternatively, you may choose to personally hand deliver it to one of our attentive staff members at the funeral home. For further assistance, please feel free to contact us at 860-956-6814.

Our history dates back to 1930 when Joseph A. Bullock established the Rose Hill Company with the vision of developing raw land for cemetery use. Alongside his wife, Carol C. Bullock, they expanded their family business by establishing Rose Hill Funeral Home in 1945, offering comprehensive funeral services. Their commitment to providing exceptional care and services quickly made them the cornerstone of Rocky Hill.

In 2022, the Romanowski family, led by Brian Romanowski and his dedicated children, Kevin and Kristaline, acquired Rose Hill Funeral Home. Their intention is to uphold the rich tradition of exceptional service and care that our funeral home is known for. We pride ourselves in being available to assist and guide you 24/7, both before and after a death occurs.
