Northwood Funeral Home & Crematory, located in West Palm Beach, has been serving families in Palm Beach County for over 73 years. We are proud to offer simple cremations, affordable funerals, and personalized ceremonies. As a family-owned and operated funeral home, we have been dedicated to providing compassionate and professional service since 1952.

At Northwood Funeral Home & Crematory, we understand that planning a funeral can be a challenging and emotional time. Our experienced team is here to guide you through the process with empathy and understanding. We respect and honor all faiths and will work closely with you to accommodate your specific needs. Our commitment is to support you and your family during this difficult time, acknowledging the diverse beliefs and traditions that bring comfort and solace.

Unlike many corporately owned funeral establishments and direct disposers in the area, we prioritize walking you through this season of loss with compassion and empathy. We do not apply sales pressures or leave you feeling uncertain. As a fully licensed funeral establishment, we offer a wide range of options, including burials, funeral services, memorial services, visitations, and viewings. These options are not available with direct disposers, allowing us to provide a personalized and meaningful experience for your family without the additional corporate expense.

When you choose Northwood Funeral Home & Crematory, you can expect to speak directly with a real funeral director, as we do not rely on an answering service. Our owner and licensed funeral director, Paul, has 36 years of experience serving families during challenging times. Even if you decide to use the services of another provider, Paul will be a helpful and trusted resource for you.

We offer the convenience of making arrangements online or by calling our caring team. Once all arrangements have been made, we take your loved one into our personal care. We handle all necessary paperwork, including registering your loved one's death and obtaining copies of the death certificate. With on-site cremation facilities and a fully licensed funeral establishment, we ensure a private and dignified cremation or burial service. Your loved one's cremated remains and death certificates are then returned to you either at our location, through priority mail, or by hand delivery.

Whether you are considering burial or cremation, we understand that the choice ultimately depends on individual preferences, cultural or religious beliefs, and practical considerations. Both options offer meaningful ways to honor and remember your loved ones. Burial has been a time-honored tradition in many cultures and provides a physical location for visitation and memorialization. On the other hand, cremation offers flexibility, cost-effectiveness, space conservation, and unique ways to personalize tributes.

Planning ahead can bring peace of mind, relieve your loved ones from making difficult decisions, and ease the financial burden. At Northwood Funeral Home & Crematory, we encourage you to consider pre-planning your funeral services. This ensures that your final wishes are respected and allows you to make all necessary preparations in advance. Our team is here to assist you every step of the way and answer any questions you may have.

We are grateful for the kind words shared by families we have served in the past. Our dedication to providing compassionate and complete services is evident in their testimonials. From guiding families through difficult times to honoring their loved ones with respect and care, our mission is to provide you with the highest level of service.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our FAQ section addresses the most commonly asked questions, but we are here to help with anything else you may need. Experience stress-free services with our licensed funeral establishment. Reach out anytime to speak directly with our owner and licensed funeral director, Paul. We proudly serve West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, and the Northwood Historic District.
