A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 2:00-7:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, located at 527 Erie Street, Storm Lake, Iowa. It is a time to gather, reflect, and share cherished memories.

In addition, a Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Oakland Cemetery, Sac City, Iowa. This solemn occasion offers an opportunity to pay our respects and find solace in the beautiful surroundings.

Our funeral home was established by Arlin Otteman of Sac City and Charles L. Farber of Lake City in 1943, following the untimely passing of Mr. A.G. Neal. Recognizing the need for efficient service and state-of-the-art equipment, we expanded our presence to serve several locations, including Schaller, Storm Lake, Lake View, Newell, Wall Lake, and Odebolt.

Through the years, we have strived to uphold our commitment to exceptional service. In 1965, Mr. Farber retired, and Mr. and Mrs. Otteman took the reins, ensuring that families in our community received the utmost care and support. In 1980, a corporation was established, led by Arlin E. Otteman as President, along with J. Richard Seger as Vice President, Roderick G. Sorensen as Secretary, and Ronald J. Nelson as Treasurer. All four owners of the corporation actively participate in the operation of the funeral homes.

With locations in Sac City, Lake View, Odebolt, and Wall Lake, each funeral home is equipped with a dedicated and compassionate staff who are here to support you during this difficult time.
