Welcome to Parson Funeral Home, the premier funeral home and cremation service in Ellsworth, KS. With a rich history dating back to 1932, we have been dedicated to providing compassionate and professional funeral services to the community for over eight decades.
Our facility, initially established as Grubb Funeral Home, was completed in 1932 by T.B. Grubb. In 1961, Dan and Lil Urbanek purchased the business from the Grubb estate, and it became known as Grubb-Parsons Funeral Home. Since 1971, the funeral home has been proudly owned and operated by the Parsons family. Mark and Lisa Parsons took over in 1993, renaming it Parsons Funeral Home. Today, Ryan and Tiffany Parsons continue this legacy as the current owners, ensuring that Parson Funeral Home remains a pillar of support in times of loss.
As a fifth-generation funeral director, Ryan Parsons carries on the tradition of compassionate care that has defined our family-owned business for decades. With a deep understanding of the importance of honoring a loved one's memory, Ryan and our dedicated team are committed to providing personalized services that reflect each individual's unique life.
At Parson Funeral Home, we offer a wide range of funeral services and cremation options to meet the diverse needs and preferences of our clients. From pre-planning to pre-arrangements and the Talk of a Lifetime program, we are here to guide you through the process with empathy and professionalism.
Our commitment to serving all members of the community extends to our services for veterans. We provide comprehensive support for veterans, including assistance with obtaining headstones and burial flags, ensuring that their sacrifices are honored with utmost respect and gratitude.
In addition to our funeral services, we believe in supporting our community through resources such as FEMA COVID-19 information, grief support, and guidance on funeral etiquette. We are here to help you navigate these challenging times with care and understanding.
