With his immense expertise and a career spanning nearly three decades in the funeral industry as a licensed funeral director, Dixon assumes responsibility for the Southern Region, providing exceptional leadership to Winnfield Funeral Homes in Shreveport, Alexandria, Baton Rouge, as well as Heritage Funeral Home and Killeen Funeral Home in central Texas.

Dixon's illustrious background includes previously serving as the director for Southern University at Shreveport's Small Business Development Center, further exemplifying his commitment to community welfare. Additionally, he holds significant roles such as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the United Way of Northwest Louisiana and past Chairman of both the Shreveport Bossier African-American Chamber of Commerce and the Strategic Action Council of Northwest Louisiana. He is also esteemed as a member of the Committee of 100 of Northwest Louisiana, board member of the State Fair of Louisiana, and former trustee of Pathways in Education Charter School.

Originally hailing from Lake Providence, Dixon completed his education at Lake Providence High and Southern University in Baton Rouge, graduating with a B.S. in Agricultural Economics/Agribusiness in 1992. He further obtained his MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2013.
