Welcome to Catholic Charities Maine, where we have been providing help and creating hope for over 50 years. Our mission is to serve the most vulnerable members of our community, regardless of their faith. Through our core values of Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Hospitality, Excellence, and Stewardship, we strive to enrich and transform lives.

With nearly 500 dedicated employees, 560 volunteers, and over 1300 generous donors, we work together to offer support, recovery, education, and comfort to those in need. Our services include various programs for both adults and children, as well as hunger and relief services.

For adults, we offer community integration programs, behavioral health home services, and recovery support through our St. Francis Recovery Center. We also provide outpatient substance use disorder treatment.

Children receive specialized care through our behavioral health home and other support services, ensuring their well-being and emotional growth.

Hunger and relief services are a priority for us, and we operate programs such as Farm for ME and the Food Bank to combat food insecurity and provide nourishment to those in need.

As part of our commitment to the community, we have established the Jessie Albert Dental & Orthodontic Center, which offers quality dental care to those who may not have access to it otherwise.

Additionally, we provide language partnerships, refugee and immigration services, and operate the Threads of Hope Thrift Stores, where individuals can find affordable and quality clothing.
