Since 1963, Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services has been providing compassionate and professional assistance to families in Battle Creek and the surrounding communities. Our journey began with Richard and Shirley Henry, who purchased a small English Tudor style home to establish the funeral home. Over the years, we have expanded our facilities through multiple property acquisitions to better serve the needs of our community.

In 2015, we experienced a change in ownership when Richard A. Henry passed away. Long-time employees, Thomas C. Coleman and Joseph U. Stasa, purchased the funeral home the following year, ensuring that our tradition of being a family-owned and operated business continues. With Paula, Tom's wife, and Denny Seivert, Paula's cousin, as part of our staff, we maintain strong family connections within our funeral home. We are also proud to have Joey, Joe's son, who recently graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science and is now a licensed funeral director.
