To ensure the safety of our visitors and adhere to CDC guidelines, federal and state funeral associations, as well as local and state emergency services, we have implemented comprehensive measures. As of June 10, 2020, our indoor gatherings are limited to 50% of normal capacity, with a mandatory physical distance of 6 feet between households.

At Dare's Funeral Home, we strive to accommodate families in any capacity needed while ensuring their safety and comfort during this challenging time. We offer visitation or gathering time prior to the service, allowing for meaningful moments with loved ones. If maximum capacity is reached, we will notify the public with a sign and unfortunately cannot accommodate additional attendees.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have expanded our services to include remote arrangements. Whether via email, webcast, or over the phone, our compassionate staff is available to support you in making arrangements from the comfort of your own home. Additionally, we now offer livestream funeral services to the public, enabling friends and family to participate remotely.

To honor the memory of your loved one and express condolences, we encourage the use of our online guestbooks. It provides a platform for sharing messages of support and comfort.

To further prioritize the health and well-being of our visitors, we have implemented additional safety measures. Physical contact, such as shaking hands or hugging, will be limited with family members, and our large gathering spaces have been rearranged to facilitate social distancing. Hand sanitizer stations are readily available throughout our facilities, and we have intensified our cleaning procedures in all public areas. Additionally, we offer only bottled water to the public and family members.

We kindly request everyone's cooperation in following the recommended guidelines set forth by the CDC, Minnesota Dept. of Health, Minnesota State Government, and affiliated health officials. By practicing social distancing, avoiding discretionary travel and shopping trips, and minimizing contact, we can collectively contribute to minimizing the spread of COVID-19.
