For over five decades, the Honsa family has faithfully served the communities of White Bear Lake and its surrounding areas. Our legacy began in 1962 when Jim Honsa became a funeral director in White Bear Lake. Throughout his career, Jim was actively involved in various organizations, including the White Bear Lake Chamber of Commerce, White Bear Lions Club, and St. Mary of the Lake Church. In 1994, Jim's dream of owning his own funeral home became a reality with the establishment of Honsa Family Funeral Home. Although Jim passed away in 2004, his daughter Terry has continued his noble tradition of caring for families in need. With immense pride, we offer personalized services during your time of need, as well as assistance in preplanning funeral arrangements. We are thrilled to announce that in 2020, the third generation of the Honsa family, Julie Honsa, joined our staff after graduating from the esteemed University of Minnesota.
