Our story began in 1911 with the establishment of Ala Funeral Home and Furniture on 2nd Ave. in Virginia, MN. In 1937, it was acquired by Cooperative Federated Mortuary and continued to serve the community until 1960, when it relocated to 911 16th St. N. and was renamed Range Funeral Home. For the past 57 years, we have operated out of this location, serving generations of families on the Iron Range.
