Starting April 12, 2021, individuals can apply for this assistance through the FEMA Funeral Assistance website or by calling the COVID-19 Funeral Assistance Line Number at 844-684-6333 (TTY: 800-462-7585). FEMA will provide reimbursement for funeral expenses incurred by U.S. citizens, legal residents, asylees, refugees, or non-citizen nationals.
