Our story began in 1971 when Samuel C. Butler founded the family funeral business. In 1985, his son Timmy R. Butler joined the business, and Butler & Son Funeral Home Inc. was established. Since then, our family has expanded to include Maxine Butler-Wall, Louise Butler, and Samuel Jr., ensuring that we provide personalized care and attention to each family we serve.

As graduates of local schools and colleges, we have made lasting investments in our community, both in terms of our properties and our experienced staff. We pride ourselves on understanding the unique needs and desires of the families in our area. With our deep knowledge of local houses of worship and connections to community resources, we assist families during their time of grief, offering guidance and support.

Inc. and the National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association, Inc. We also adhere to the highest professional standards set by the N.C. In light of the current circumstances, we understand the importance of safety and abide by Executive Order No.117. To ensure the well-being of our clients, we require everyone entering our facilities to wear a mask or face covering. We also offer virtual arrangements, allowing families to make necessary arrangements with minimal in-person contact.
