Our founder, the late Walter D. Dafford, Jr., penned our motto, "Our Aim is to Be Worthy of Your Trust," which reflects our commitment to serving our families with integrity and care. We understand the importance of this difficult time and are here to assist you and your family during the transition or help you with pre-arrangement planning.

Established in 1946 in Dunn, NC, our funeral home has been serving families for generations. We moved to our current location on East Edgerton Street in 1949, after which we remodeled the facilities in 1972 and 1992 to prioritize the comfort and accessibility of our clients and visitors.

In addition to our Dunn location, we also have a facility in Angier, NC. The Angier location, known as Dafford Memorial Chapel, was established in 1974 and later replaced with a modern facility on Tippet Road in 2002.

We take great pride in our family tradition of providing compassionate and dignified funeral services, and our team is committed to meeting the needs of the families we serve. We strive to combine the ideals and visions of the past with a focus on the future.
