Our story began in 1900 when Richard A. Adams opened a furniture, coffins, and caskets store in Hiddenite. In the early 1900s, the business was relocated to Taylorsville and named R.A. Adams Furniture, Coffins, and Caskets. Escar Adams, Richard's son, took over the business in 1921 and founded Alexander County's first funeral home in 1935.

Over the years, we have moved to different locations, always striving to provide the best facility for our services. Currently, our funeral home is situated on Main Avenue Drive and Highway 16 South in Taylorsville.
