Our roots date back to 1935 when my father, Edward D. Jamie, established the first Armenian funeral home in the United States. Raised in orphanages across various countries, he experienced firsthand the pain of losing a loved one. This inspired him to open his funeral home and serve families in need. My mother, Lucy Tufankjian, became the first Armenian woman undertaker in the United States, and together they laid the foundation of our business.

With an education from Boston University and American University, I, Leon E. Jamie, have upheld my parents' legacy by becoming a licensed funeral director since 1980. Instilled with their values of respect, integrity, and human compassion, I am proud to continue serving others in their hour of need. The preservation of family history is essential for the future of our integrated community, and it is with this in mind that I remain dedicated to serving you, anywhere and anytime.
