We also offer pre-planning services, allowing you to prepare for the future. Our knowledgeable staff can guide you through the process, answering any questions you may have along the way. Pre-planning ensures that your wishes are honored and relieves the burden on your family during a time of grief.

When a death occurs, we are available 24/7 to assist you. Whether you prefer to make arrangements online or by phone, we are here to support you. Our caring team will bring your loved one into our care from their place of passing and handle all necessary paperwork, including the registration of the death and the application for a cremation permit from the state.

Once the necessary documentation is complete, you can expect the cremated remains to be ready for pick up at our location within 7 business days. At our Akron location, we serve families by appointment from Monday to Friday, allowing us to give each family the individual attention they deserve.

Our funeral home offers a range of additional services to accommodate your needs. From our online arrangement planner to our 24-hour availability, we strive to make the process as convenient as possible. We take care of essential services such as filing the death certificate and providing secure onsite refrigeration. We also offer a variety of optional services, including witness cremation and mail delivery of cremated remains.

Please note that certain fees may apply, such as additional personnel for removal, meeting with a funeral director in person, and newspaper handling. Storage of remains beyond the first 48 hours and if the body is over 250 lbs may incur additional charges. We also offer services such as obtaining a fingerprint, pacemaker removal, and transfer of ashes to a family-provided urn.

It is important to us that you have a full understanding of the costs involved. We are committed to transparency and will provide you with a General Price List (GPL) before discussing the selection of funeral goods and services. Should any legal or other requirements necessitate the purchase of items not initially requested, we will provide a written explanation.
