Established in 1924 as the Householder Funeral Home, Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home has a rich history of serving the community. In 1951, Robert Brucker, Sr. and James Kishler came together, forming a partnership and acquiring the firm. In 1974, Jim Brucker, carrying on the family legacy, joined the team as the second generation.

Our commitment to excellence has been recognized by The National Funeral Directors Association, which presented us with the prestigious Pursuit of Excellence award. Looking towards the future, the third generation of the Brucker family has stepped forward. In the year 2000, Jim Brucker's daughters, Leslea Brucker and Tracy Brucker-Brewster, joined the firm, ensuring that our family-owned and operated funeral home continues to serve the Newark-Licking County community with heartfelt compassion.
