At Rest-Haven, we prioritize the comfort and support of the families we serve. To ensure an exceptional experience, our funeral home and cemetery office is open on weekdays by appointment only. By offering personalized attention and guidance, we strive to make this difficult time a little less burdensome for you.

We understand that every life is unique and deserves to be celebrated accordingly. Recently, we had the privilege of honoring the lives of Wade Allen Minor, Mel Maurice Clark, Theresa "Terri" Vieira, Juanita "Nita" Monce, and Esther Catherine Erford. Each individual had their own story, and we were honored to be a part of their legacies.

Wade Allen Minor was a devoted family man and a dedicated Locomotive Engineer. He is survived by his loving daughters, Molly Arnold Madden, Amy Butler, and his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Greenhill Humane Society in his memory.

Mel Maurice Clark, a proud US Navy veteran, lived a life full of love for his family and sports. He leaves behind sons Larry, Kerry, Chris, and a legacy of 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Rest-Haven on January 20, 2024, to honor his life.

Theresa "Terri" Vieira, a compassionate nurse and a pillar of her community, touched the lives of many. Her dedication to her profession and her unwavering faith left a lasting impact. A celebration of her life took place at United Lutheran Church.

Juanita "Nita" Monce, a nurturing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, embraced the joys of family life. Her warmth and hospitality were felt by all who knew her. A celebration of life will be held at Ebbert Memorial Church on December 2, 2023, to commemorate her memory.

Esther Catherine Erford, an avid reader, performer, and lover of the arts, lived a life enriched by creativity. Her legacy lives on through her writings and her active participation in the San Francisco arts scene. A memorial service was held at Rest-Haven on October 12th to honor her.

Rest-Haven Memorial Park is honored to have been a part of the lives of these remarkable individuals. As we continue to serve the Lane County community, we remain dedicated to providing compassionate care and a place of solace for all who seek it.
