We deeply mourn the passing of the beloved and gracious Arlene C. Ashton, who departed on October 1, 2020. She was a guardian for us all, a cherished mother who is deeply missed.

Our hearts are heavy as we announce the loss of the highly esteemed R. Kline Ashton, Sr., who left us on January 25, 2017. He was our unwavering pillar, a devoted father whose absence is profoundly felt.

Join us for a Service of Remembrance on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at 1 PM. The event will be held at the American Legion, Brown & Lynch Post #9, located at 2260 Corriere Dr., Palmer Twp., PA. We will adorn a Tree of Remembrance with Keepsakes in memory of those who have passed away over the course of this year. In memory of those who departed in 2022, a Tree of Remembrance has been planted at Mill Race Park in Palmer Twp., PA, situated just off Bushkill Dr. at Newlins Mill Rd. These trees, dedicated over the past four decades, serve as living memorials to those who continue to reside in our hearts.

R. Kline Ashton, Jr. has been awarded the prestigious NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award by the National Eagle Scout Association and the Minsi Trails Council. This honor recognizes his exceptional achievements and contributions as an Eagle Scout, bringing great honor to the esteemed rank of the Boy Scouts of America. We applaud his remarkable personal and professional endeavors at the local, state, and regional level.

Debra Ashton-Chase, following in her father's footsteps, has served as the 135th President of the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association (PFDA). Established in 1881, PFDA is one of the largest state funeral director associations in the nation. Debbie has also held the positions of PFDA District Governor and Past-President of the Eastern PA Funeral Directors Association. Her dedication to the industry and her community mirrors the legacy of service set by her father, R. Kline Ashton, Sr.
