The first, formerly known as the Rider home, was constructed over a century ago, exuding timeless elegance and charm. The second building, known as the Hospitality House, was once the cherished residence of Charles and Elizabeth Hill. The legacy of excellence continues under the leadership of Mr. Jerome W. Shell, Jr., who assumed ownership of the funeral home in 1987. Jerome Shell, Jr. comes from a storied background, having dedicated his life to the honor and dignity of the deceased. A graduate from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role. Moreover, Jerome Shell, Jr. proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and maintains active roles in esteemed organizations such as the American Legion and the Christ United Methodist Church.

Preserving the family tradition, Laura Allison Sawyer-Villers, daughter of Jerome Shell, Jr., has demonstrated her commitment to the funeral home as well. Following her graduation from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2007, Laura has contributed her expertise to this respected establishment.
