Nelson-Haile Funeral Home, located at 919 Church Street in Camden, SC, has been serving our communities with sympathy, compassion, and affordable professional services for five generations. Established in 1923, our mission is to provide excellent professional services at affordable prices to the families we are privileged to serve.

In response to the COVID-19/Coronavirus Pandemic, we are following the guidelines and recommendations instituted by the state and federal government to ensure the safety and health of our families and the community as a whole. As part of our social distancing practice, we kindly ask that physical contact be limited during visitation to the funeral home and that there are no groups larger than 3 at any time during visitations. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and patience during this challenging time.

At Nelson-Haile Funeral Home, we understand the importance of arranging the best possible farewell and memorial service for your loved one. We provide traditional funerals as well as cremation services for all faiths. Our dedicated staff will be by your side with honest and personalized attention, offering the support your family needs during this time of loss and deep sadness.

You can rely on us to answer all of your questions regarding funeral services, take care of the necessary formalities, and handle the organization of the entire process for you. Our experienced funeral directors will help you plan a respectful and dignified funeral service that reflects the wishes of the deceased and meets your family's individual needs.

If the deceased did not express any specific wishes while they were alive, we recommend that you ask yourselves the following questions when choosing the type of funeral:

- Traditional Funeral Service: A funeral service held at a church or funeral home chapel, followed by burial in a cemetery or entombment in a mausoleum. - Graveside Service: A service held at the cemetery only, without a service at a church or chapel. - Transfer (Shipping) Service: A service held locally, after which the deceased is transferred to another funeral home, out-of-state, for burial. Local service is not required for us to handle the transfer.
