Williamson & Sons Funeral Home was founded in 1950 by the late James G. "Jimmy" Williamson, Sr. It began as a heartfelt endeavor, with Jimmy's family residing upstairs while the downstairs served as the funeral home. Jimmy's sons, "Chuck" and "Gabby," grew up in the business, bringing continuity and dedication to their work. They were among the first in Soddy to introduce telephone services, enabling people to connect with their loved ones. Additionally, they ran an ambulance service for several decades, assisting many in their time of need.

Today, Chuck remains actively involved in the funeral home, ensuring the legacy of exceptional service continues. Continuing the Williamson family tradition, Jimmy Williamson II, our President, and Greg Gormanson, a longstanding friend and colleague, serve as pillars of our team.
