Shirley's love for her children was unwavering, and she cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A final viewing will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 12:00 pm, followed by a graveside service at Fairmount Cemetery at 3:00 pm, where Shirley will be laid to rest.
We also had the privilege of serving the family of Florence Merlene Vicky. Florence, lovingly known as Merlene, was a cherished member of our community. Born on May 18, 1928, in El Campo, Texas, she dedicated her life to her family and faith. Merlene was a devoted homemaker, displaying her talents as an excellent cook and skilled seamstress. She found joy in spending time with her grandchildren and embraced the role of a mentor at Lake View Christian Church. We invite you to pay your respects during the open viewing on Monday, May 15, 2023, from 8:00 am - 7:00 pm at Etch Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Fairmount Cemetery on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 11:00 am, with Pastor Bobby Roger officiating.
Lee S. Sing, a beloved member of our community, also received our compassionate services. Born on May 11, 1943, Lee was a devoted family man and avid reader. He enjoyed immersing himself in history and non-fiction, and his barn served as his haven. Lee's love for sports, especially the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, and Ohio State football, brought him great joy. We invite you to join us for visitation on Monday, May 8, 2023, from 11:00 am, until the time of service at 12:00 noon at Etch Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
We were honored to serve the family of Albina Sylvia, known affectionately as Nina. Born on August 22, 1923, Albina was a resilient woman who made significant contributions during World War II as a "Rosie the Riveter." She met her beloved husband Manuel Sylvia after the war, and together they built a life centered on family and faith. Albina's dedication as a seamstress and supervisor demonstrated her commitment to excellence. Please join us for visitation on Monday, May 22, 2023, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Etch Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
