In the wake of the passing of our Owner/Manager, Mr. Donati R. High, Sr., the Knox-High Mortuary remains OPEN to conduct business as usual. We will continue to serve Southside Virginia and Northern North Carolina, just as we have since our inception in 1941 by Mr. John A. Knox. ALL Pre Need Funeral Plans established with Mr. High are secure and require you, as the consumer, to do nothing at this time. Rest assured that your wishes will be honored with the same level of compassion, dignity, respect, and integrity as it would with Mr. Donati High.

Our establishment is operated by a staff of trained and highly skilled professional specialists, and our facilities are still regarded as the most modern in this area. While Mr. High may not physically be with us, his spirit, leadership, and legacy will forever abide.
