Lemley Funeral Chapel has been serving the community of Sedro-Woolley and all of Skagit County since 1935. As a three-generation family-operated funeral home, we are committed to providing personalized and professional services to our valued clients.
Founded by Harold V. Lemley, the funeral home was operated by him and his sons, Robert and Richard, until their retirements. Richard's son, Rick Lemley, then took over the business and owned and operated it for several years. In 2012, Douglas Hutter became a partner alongside Rick and now fully owns the funeral home since Rick's retirement in 2020.
At Lemley Chapel, we offer a comprehensive range of services to meet the needs of our clients. Whether you require traditional funeral services with burial, cremation options, memorial services, caskets, urns, burial vaults, or memorial markers, we have you covered. Additionally, we provide pre-need planning and pre-need funding options to ensure your wishes are fulfilled.
In times of loss, we understand the importance of honoring and commemorating your loved ones in a meaningful way. We have a dedicated team of funeral directors and staff who will guide you through the entire process with compassion and professionalism. Whether you choose to hold the funeral service at our funeral home, a local church of your choice, or another local facility, we will make all the necessary arrangements.
For veterans and service-members, we offer military services and can assist with burial in a VA national cemetery. Our team will ensure that all requirements are met for an honorable final resting place.
We also provide graveside services, including embalming and preparation for viewing, so you can bid farewell to your loved ones in a peaceful outdoor setting at a local cemetery.
Furthermore, we offer cremation services and memorial services. A Memorial or Celebration of Life Service can be held either before or after cremation takes place. If you choose to hold the service before cremation, our funeral home chapel or a church can accommodate your needs.
