Founded by Dewey S. Hastings and his wife, Mary, in 1952, our funeral home has grown to become the largest single provider of funeral and cremation services in the area. Through the years, we have been honored by the support of our county citizens and beyond.

Continuing the legacy, Dewey's father and brother are now responsible for the daily operations of the funeral home. Grant Hastings, Dan's son, represents the third generation of the Hastings family, ensuring a seamless transition and commitment to exceptional service.

At Hastings Funeral Home, we have continually upgraded our facilities to provide the highest level of comfort and convenience to our families. With three well-appointed visitation rooms and ample off-street parking, we strive to create an atmosphere of solace and peace. For those who opt for cremation, we have operated our own crematory for over three decades. Our dedicated staff is well-versed in all aspects of cremation, from service options to religious customs and legal requirements.

Our team comprises six licensed funeral directors, whose combined experience in the funeral industry exceeds 150 years. Additionally, we have five licensed crematory operators, a proficient office staff including a notary and licensed insurance agent, and several part-time staff members ready to assist with services.
