Bism Rabbik Foundation Inc., a not-for-profit Muslim organization, is dedicated to serving the community in times of grief and loss. Located at 17551 NW 137th Ave., Hialeah, FL 33018, we offer a range of facilities and services to assist grieving families during the passing of a loved one.
Our foundation operates multiple facilities, including the Riyadh Ul Jannah Funeral Home, the Muslim Cemetery of South Florida, the Muslim Cemetery of Miami-Dade, the Madrassa Al-Farooq, and the Key West Musallah. We also provide religious educational material, teach Quran, and supply shrouds for Islamic burial, ensuring that all aspects of the Islamic funeral process are met with care and adherence to tradition.
When the unfortunate event of a loved one's demise occurs, Bism Rabbik Foundation is here to guide and support grieving families. We understand the sensitivity of this issue and are committed to assisting families in the necessary steps that need to be taken upon the demise of their loved ones.
One essential aspect is notifying the proper authorities promptly. Following that, making funeral arrangements becomes a priority. If you wish to use our Muslim cemetery facilities, please contact us at (305) 798 - 3312 to arrange for these services.
The Legally Authorized Person for the Decedent plays a vital role in authorizing the removal of the deceased from the place of death and providing necessary information and executing relevant documents. Coordination of all arrangements, including the Ghusl (ritual washing) and interment, will be carried out in consultation with the Legally Authorized Person.
To maintain the smooth execution of funeral services, it is crucial that the Legally Authorized Person arrives on time. Please note that late fees will be imposed for delays, and arrival 45 minutes or more after the scheduled time may result in postponement of interment until the following day, incurring additional charges.
During the arrangement conference, one person may accompany the Legally Authorized Person. Once the required authorizations and payments are received, the Ghusl and shrouding will take place. In some cases, a short visitation may be provided for the family, although this may be subject to the Foundation's discretion, especially if the Decedent had an infectious disease in the preceding months.
Considering the current circumstances, it is essential to certify that the Decedent was not Covid+ at the time of death. Failure to disclose this information may result in the Legally Authorized Person being liable for any damages incurred by the Foundation.
The Salat ul Janazah will be performed before the interment, and speeches are not permitted during this time. For the interment process, a maximum of three able-bodied men, approved by the Legally Authorized Person, may assist in lowering the remains into the crypt. Women, in accordance with Islamic rules, will not be permitted on the burial grounds during the process but will be allowed to visit the grave site and pay their respects once the interment is completed.
To maintain the sanctity and appearance of the cemetery, we have certain guidelines in place. Natural flowers may be placed within the Cemetery, but planting is not permitted. We request that items such as picket fences, lights, incense or lo bahan, balloons, or stuffed animals are not brought to the site. The Foundation reserves the right to remove any items that violate these guidelines.
At Bism Rabbik Foundation, we prioritize compliance with our Rules and Regulations. Failure to comply may result in a refusal to provide services or other sanctions as determined by the Foundation. Payment is required prior to service, and we accept cash, checks, and credit cards, with a 3% service charge for credit card transactions.
Our facilities are available to serve you 24 hours a day, year-round. We understand the importance of being there for families during these challenging times, and our dedicated team is here to support and assist you with care and compassion.
Please note that the Foundation reserves the right to refuse service to any person as determined in its sole discretion. For a comprehensive understanding of our rules and regulations, please click here.
