At Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, the well-being of our families is of utmost importance to us. As dedicated professionals, we are diligently adhering to the guidelines provided by the local health department, elected officials, the esteemed office of Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb, and the CDC.

Over the past few months, our compassionate staff has taken significant precautions to ensure the safety of our families and their loved ones. It is with great responsibility that we inform you that as of 12:00 PM on February 24, 2021, Jefferson County (IN) has been classified as a "Yellow" County under the statewide metric system. Consequently, visitations within our facility are currently restricted to a maximum of 100 individuals at any given time, regardless of the location. We kindly request that all attendees comply with the mandatory use of masks and maintain proper social distancing during these visitations.

For funeral services officiated by a clergy member, either at our funeral home or a local church, please note that such services are considered religious gatherings and are not subject to specific attendance limits. However, it is essential that all participants be able to adequately practice social distancing throughout the service.

To ensure the well-being of our staff and the families we serve, we kindly ask that anyone who has recently experienced, or is currently experiencing, symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, or who has been in direct contact with an individual diagnosed with or potentially diagnosed with COVID-19, refrain from visiting our facilities. As a gesture of respect and consideration, the use of face masks is mandatory while within our premises. Furthermore, we strongly recommend maintaining a safe distance of six feet between different households.

We are proud to provide live-streaming services to our families, enabling family members and friends who may feel uncomfortable attending in-person services to be actively involved in honoring and celebrating the life of their loved ones.
