The John J. Bryers Funeral Home, Inc. is a distinguished funeral home that has faithfully served the communities of Willow Grove, Huntingdon Valley, Abington, Horsham, Hatboro, Warminster, Warrington, Upper Dublin, Oreland, Doylestown, and Glenside for over 60 years. Our history dates back to the founding of the funeral home by John J. Bryers Sr. and his wife Ann Bryers. Originally located on Allegheny Avenue in Philadelphia, our home eventually relocated to Willow Grove in the early 1970s. For several decades, John Sr. and Ann dedicated themselves to serving the community together until John Sr. passed away in 1982. Ann carried on their legacy alongside their son, John J. Bryers Jr., until her retirement in 1998. At that time, Jeffrey S. Thompson assumed the role of overseeing the daily operations, joined later by Brian Hurst in 2002 and Keith J. Murphy in 2004.

Today, Jeffrey, Keith, and Brian continue the tradition of compassionate care as they assist the families who entrust us with their loved ones. We approach each family with the utmost respect and treat them as if they were our own, proudly upholding our commitment to the community we serve.

Our dedicated staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring that we are always here for the families we assist. Located on the corner of Allison Road and North Easton Road (Route 611), adjacent to St. David Church, our funeral home boasts ample parking facilities and conveniently accommodates services of any size. We prioritize accessibility, with a building design that eliminates the need for stairs, making it easier for all guests to attend. Our spacious viewing room comfortably seats over 100 people.

Keith J. Murphy F.D. and Jeffrey S. Thompson Supervisor lead our compassionate team, offering unwavering support and guidance during difficult times. We proudly contribute to the community by being actively involved in charitable organizations such as the Willow Grove Lions Club, the Lionsville Lions Club, the Chester County Funeral Directors Association, and the Willow Grove Rotary Club.
